Nari Swasthya Pahel- Carried out by the LOGS for the first time in 2017

“NARI SWASTHYA PAHEL” a women health awareness programme initiated by Dr. Rishma Pai (President FOGSI) was carried out by LOGS.
In this regard, a health checkup camp was arranged in village Mullanpur near Ludhiana.
Venue was Mohan Kaur Nursing College. The camp was inaugurated by MLA, Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid.
In this camp patients were examined from 9.00AM to 2.00PM and free medicines were also distributed. Hb,RBS and BMD were done free of cost.
209 patients were examined and their records were kept in excel sheets as required by FOGSI.
Dr. Rishma’s message was also displayed on the projector.
Health talks were also given by LOGS members.
It was seen that anaemia, osteopenia were very common in the rural population, a few new diabetic patients were also detected.
