2015-2016 CME

16 CMEs were held by LOGS from 01/04/2015 to 31/03/2016 which are as follows:

The 1st CME of the current year was held in Maharaja Regency, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana.

The topic was “Liver Diseases in pregnancy”, held on 02/05/15.
The speakers were Dr. Vaneet Kaur & Dr. Sandeep Sidhu.

19/06/2015 – 2nd CME

Held in Hotel – A from 2.00pm onwards.
The topic was “INFLUENZA VACCINE IN PREGNANCY”.
The speakers were Dr. Sonia Naik from Max Hospital, Saket, Delhi & Dr. Vikas Bansal from SPS Hospital Ludhiana.
The chair persons were Dr. Jagjit Pal Kaur, Dr. Daljit Singh & Dr. Ajit Chawla.
The moderator was Dr. Gitanjali Kaur.

The guest speaker was Dr. Badhwar from Mumbai, her talk was on antenatal care and on “Toxoplasmosis in pregnancy”. The chair persons were Dr. Ashima Taneja and Dr. Vinita Aggarwal.
The 2nd talk was on “Rubella in pregnancy” by Dr. Veenus Bansal, the 3rd talk was on “Cytomegalo virus & Herpes in pregnancy” by Dr. Kanupriya Jain.

24/12/2015 CME cum cultural event to celebrate Merry Christmas & New year.

Venue Radisson blu
Time 8.00pm onwards.
Role of myoinositol was discussed in cases of infertility. The panel discussion was also very interactive. The people were in a jubiliant mood as the CME was to be immediately followed by the cultural programme. The doctors performed group dances and choreographies.
Also for the firt time in the history of LOGS, a life time achievement award was introduced which was given to Dr. S.K. Kohli, M.D. (gynae & obs. ) who is now 80yrs old & still attends most of the CMEs

Apart from the CMEs, LOGS has taken an initiative to celebrate and hold cultural events from time to time.Above is the detailed list of meetins & CMEs held by LOGS upto 31st March, 2016. LOGS is still holding the events with the same enthusiasm and zeal.
