The Managing Council shall make new Rules and Regulations, amend existing ones, and also obtain the sanction of the Board of Trustees and the General Body. Any member desirous of proposing any change in the Rules and Regulations of the Society shall give at least 6 weeks notice of such proposal to the Secretary who shall bring them before the Annual General Body after they have been considered and recommended by the Managing Council and the Board of Trustees. If the Managing Council refuses to recommend the member’s proposal for amendments, he/she would request the same to the General Body along with the notice of the AGM. If an amendment to the Constitution is to be made, it should be passed with a minimum of a 2/3rd majority of those present.
