The women’s health awareness program

The women’s health awareness program “NARI SWASTHYA PEHAL” was conducted on 11 June 2017, initiated by Dr. Rishma Pai (Hon.President of FOGSI) in association with LOGS.
A health check up camp was arranged at the Mohan Kaur Nursing College in village Mullanpur near Ludhiana, and inaugurated by Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid, MLA.
In this camp, more than 209 patients were recorded and examined free of cost from 9.00AM to 2.00PM by FOGSI, and free medicines were also distributed to the patients.
Dr. Rishma’s important message was displayed on the projector, along with some useful health talks provided by LOGS. It was found that most of the patients in the rural population commonly suffered from anemia and osteopenia. However, a few new diabetic patients were also seen.
